lands the uniqueness of their gift has Indeed, with an enlightened vision and renewed hope, PCA the Chamber Choir shall continue to pursue its mission for the education of the youth and for the enhancement of culture and the arts. It will always be their joy and fulfillment to enthrall the people all over the world and bring to life the gift of music, its beauty, power and magic.
Errol's interest in music began at an early age in Bacolod City, Philippines. Through the encouragement of his father, he learned to play the piano at the age of eight. Three years later, he joined and won in the Regional Yamaha Junior Electone Festival. While in high school, he was actively involved in Glee Clubs and school productions as pianist and musical director. In college, he first took up Business Management at the De La Salle University but his interest in music prevailed. He enrolled in the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Q.C. and in 1986 graduated with the degree in music, major in piano. Thereafter, he taught at Ryan Cayabyab's music studio as one of the pioneer faculty members for three years. Though quite young in his musical career, Errol was once one of the most sought after accompanists while he was still based in Manila. He was pianist and conductor of different company, school and church choirs. In 1993, he tranferred to Puerto Princesa City and since then has honed the PCA -the Chamber Choir formerly known as the Holy Trinity College Grand Chorale to higher levels of chorale singing. Under his inspired direction, he has led the group to three international tours; Singapore and Bangkok in 1996, Italy, Austria and Germany in 1997, to the different parts of the United States of America in the summer of 1999 and 2000 and again Italy and Germany in the summer of 2001. His dedication of honing the musical talents of his wards continues for he believes that his music will be kept alive if he shares it with them and for as long as he has music, this will always be his greatest legacy.
